Certificate of Recognition (COR)

We are proud to be COR-certified, meaning our health and safety program meets the rigorous standards set out by IHSA and the COR program.

This certification confirms that our safety management system is fully implemented, audited, and continuously improved—ensuring a safer workplace for our team and peace of mind for our clients.

What is COR? (Certificate of Recognition)

The Certificate of Recognition (COR®) is a nationally recognized workplace health and safety accreditation standard that verifies a company has fully implemented an effective Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). It is administered in Ontario by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) and is widely accepted across Canada.

COR certification demonstrates that an organization has documented, implemented, and routinely audits its health and safety management system against nationally accepted criteria. The program includes internal and external audits to ensure ongoing compliance, continual improvement, and real-world effectiveness in reducing workplace risks.

Why it Matters

Achieving COR means your company doesn’t just meet legal requirements—it goes above and beyond to protect workers, reduce injuries, and proactively manage hazards.

A Requirement for Many Contracts

Both public and private sector clients increasingly require COR certification as a condition of contract eligibility, especially in construction and industrial projects.

Competitive Advantage

COR-certified companies stand out in the market—showcasing their commitment to safety excellence, which can enhance reputation, client trust, and bidding success.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

Certification includes regular audits and updates to your safety systems, helping ensure your policies keep pace with best practices and regulatory standards.
