MGI Construction Corp. was contracted to deliver the demolition and early site works for the redevelopment of 1900 Boundary Road in Whitby. The scope included the demolition of two industrial buildings, guard houses, sheds, foundations, slabs, fencing, signage, and over 40 trees, with on-site concrete crushing for reuse in parking areas. Following demolition, MGI carried out extensive earthworks and site servicing, including topsoil stripping, cut-and-fill operations, contaminated soil removal, grading, backfilling, and underground service installation for storm, sanitary, and watermain systems. These works prepared the 1900 Boundary Road property for large-scale industrial development, ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable site conditions to support future construction.
