MGI Construction Corp. was contracted by the Picou Group to perform demolition works at Lantic Sugar’s industrial facility, including the removal of an existing truck bay and the dismantling of two large liquid sugar silos. Lantic, a division of Rogers Sugar, is one of Canada’s leading producers of refined sugar and liquid sugar products, supplying food manufacturers, bakeries, and households nationwide. The facility operates as a critical hub in the country’s food supply chain, where efficiency, safety, and reliability are paramount. By executing specialized demolition in a live industrial environment, MGI provided essential site preparation services that allowed Lantic Sugar to modernize and optimize its operations.
