MGI Construction Corp. completed the earthworks for the new transitional and emergency housing facility being developed by Inn From the Cold in partnership with York Region. Located in Newmarket, the three-storey, 44-unit building will provide both transitional and emergency housing, addressing a critical need for vulnerable residents. MGI’s scope included bulk excavation, grading, and site preparation to establish a strong foundation for construction. By delivering this work safely and efficiently, MGI contributed to a project that will play an essential role in tackling homelessness and expanding affordable housing options within the community.
