The site held a 1 1/2-storey(log cabin style) residence built circa 1950 comprising of approximately 690square feet in total area, with a detached garage/storage building and wood fence at the rear of the property. Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation has acquired the property as part of its plan to reconstruct the Highway 400 interchange at Dunlop Street West. The reconstruction will run along Dunlop, from Anne to Ferndale Drive. Plans call for the widening of the corridor to three lanes in each direction through the 400 ramp terminals.
