MTO’s intention to remove and widen both the Simcoe Street South and Albert Street crossings of Highway 401 started here. Additional crossings along the Highway 401 corridor and the restoration and expansion of the west bound lanes from Stevenson Road South to Hwy 35/115 in Clarington were part of this project. MGI demolished multiple properties in relation to this infrastructure project.
