MGI Construction Corp. was retained to complete the earthworks and heavy civil infrastructure for the new Conseil scolaire Viamonde elementary school in Ajax, Ontario. The project supports the development of a modern French-language elementary school and licensed childcare centre that will serve the growing Francophone community in Durham Region. The school will provide space for 317 elementary students and 49 licensed childcare spaces. MGI's scope included site preparation, bulk earthworks, grading, excavation, underground servicing, stormwater infrastructure, and the installation of civil works required to support the future school development. By delivering these critical site services, MGI helped establish the foundation for a modern educational facility that will provide long-term benefits to students, families, and the surrounding community.
